• A taxi from the airport charges about 15 $
Tell the driver:„Pasa la entrada principal de Playa el Agua y cruza en la segunda entrada a mano izquierda (Urb., La Mira)
(-kiosco rojo en la entrada -"la calle del taller de Oscar" - entrada tiene forma de "Y"- entrada enfrente de la farmacia)
• casi al final de la calle queda a mano derecha la Posada (conocida también como el Hotel F.G.)- al lado del taller de Oscar- con una churuata grande enfrente."

        ---By Bus: -- It's really cheap, about 50 cents---
• The bus stop is nearby Plaza Bolívar - ask for "Linea Playa el Agua" the last bus leaves around 9 p.m.
(Usually there's no schedule for busses in Venezuela. The Bus leaves when all seats are occupied)
• Passing the main entrance to "Playa el Agua" get off the bus (tell the driver to stop there):
• Turn left the second street (diagonally opposite of the Farmacia - pharmacy) -
(The street has a wide entrance similar to a "Y"- you'll see a small red kiosk in the entrance, and you're on the right way).
• The street is called: Calle Diaz Ordaz, but the neighbors know it better as: "la calle del taller de Oscar"- because Mr. Oscar has his well known garage there.-
• Follow this street almost at the end of it you'll see on your right hand site the big Indian Palm Roof Top (In Venezuela this is called: Churuata, by it's native Indigenous name).
• Looking into the lot you'll see on both "border walls" the writing:
"HOTEL F.G."; this was the former Name of the Guesthouse. Some
Neighbors may know it still by this Name. (You may ask for this Name too)

                                 Wegbeschreibung - so komme ich hin

   Die Adresse ist:

- MARGARITA HOSTEL (Antiguo Hotel F.G.) = das vorherige Hotel F.G.
- Calle Díaz Ordáz,                                     (sprich: "hotel efe he")
- La Mira,
- Playa El Agua

Taxifahrern und den Anwohnern ist die Posada (Gasthaus) noch als "Hotel F.G" bekannt.

Außer mit dem nationalen und internationalen Flug kommt man auch mit der Fähre aus Cumaná, oder Puerto la Cruz (Caracas nur einmal die Woche) auf die Insel Margarita.
Ein volksnaher Geheimtipp ist das Personenboot, welches nahe der Kleinstadt Carúpano, auf dem Festland gegenüber der Insel, ab- und anlegt.
Du kommst direkt in Porlamar an.

Wenn du von Porlamar oder vom Flughafen/ Fähre kommst:

- Ein Taxi vom Flughafen kostet zurzeit umgerechnet etwa 15 $
- Sage dem Fahrer:
„Pasa la entrada principal de Playa el Agua y cruza en la segunda entrada ("la calle del taller de Oscar"- entrada enfrente de la farmacia) a mano izquierda (La Mira) - casi al final de la calle queda a mano derecha la Posada (conocida también como el Hotel F.G.)- con una churuata grande enfrente."

--Der Bus ist richtig billig, die Fahrt  kostet zurzeit umgerechnet etwa 50 cent.--
Die Bushaltestelle ist nahe der Plaza Bolívar /Zentrum von Porlamar).
Frage nach: „El autobús para Playa el Agua"
Nach der Haupteinfahrt von Playa el Agua (rechte Seite) steigst du aus dem Bus. du biegst in die zweite Strasse auf der linken Seite-schraeg gegenueber(vor) der FARMACIA(Apotheke).
Hier geht es fast bis zu deren Ende und du siehst auf der rechten Seite das große indianische Palmdach (Churuata).
